Lasndidyll Hotel des Jahres 2012 - Ihre GastgeberThe Hammelehle establishment has experienced an exemplary generation change in recent years which was realised in a structured fashion and true to a clear concept.

In the last five years, Matthias Hammelehle and his partner have managed the transformation from a traditional Black Forest hotel to a modern establishment acutely aware of the environment and offering an excellent standard of comfort and other attractions. But loving attention to traditions and the regional cuisine have not been forgotten during this change.

New innovations range from a geothermal borehole for an environmentally friendly and cost-effective heating system to renovation of all guest rooms and include a spacious wellness spa with a panorama pool, sauna and relaxation area and treatment rooms.

Matthias Hammelehle: “Thanks to our ultra-modern panorama pool, our wellness spa and the renovated rooms, the number of guests visiting our hotel has increased and, indeed, we are even attracting younger visitors today. Bookings have grown significantly, and we have succeeded in continuing to enthuse and delight our regular customers while simultaneously gaining a completely new clientele. We are immensely happy to have received the Landidyll award and also the fact that our efforts have been recognised in this fashion by our hotel cooperation.”
